Georgetown has shot terribly from the field and free-throw line, played without any consistency and even lost three games at home, but that was all forgotten Monday night when the Hoyas managed a 78-67 victory over No. 14 Villanova at Landover, Md.

The Hoyas, 12-7 overall and 5-6 in the Big East, didn’t fold when Villanova (15-5, 6-4) cut a 21-point second-half lead to four.

No. 4 Utah 84, No. 21 Tulsa 58--The Utes (14-2, 6-0) coasted to the Western Athletic Conference victory over the Golden Hurricane (15-5, 5-1) at Provo, Utah, as Michael Doleac had 18 points and seven assists.
