10 Young Women Vie in Scholarship Pageant
The 1997 Miss Placentia Scholarship pageant will be today in the Valencia High School auditorium, 500 N. Bradford Ave. Ten young women are competing for the title.
Tickets for the 7 p.m. event, open to the public, are $12 each.
Proceeds from ticket sales go to the scholarship fund.
