Olec Corp. Moves Into New Headquarters
IRVINE — Olec Corp., a major manufacturer of lighting systems for the printing, printed circuit board and printed textiles industries, has moved into a new, 82,000-square-foot headquarters and manufacturing facility.
The company, which celebrates its 20th birthday Friday with a dedication of the building, moved from a nearby 50,000-square-foot facility that it had outgrown.
Privately owned Olec, which has about 100 employees and posted $16 million in sales last year, acquired its new facility from an overseas owner. It had been vacant for two years. The company paid a total of $4.5 million to buy the property, refurbish it and expand the building.
