Quiksilver Inc.: The Costa Mesa designer and distributor of casual clothing said net income for the fiscal year ended Oct. 31 totaled $11.7 million, or $1.62 a share, a gain of 17% from the $10 million, or $1.45 a share, reported for the prior year. Sales advanced 12% to $193.5 million from $172.8 million. Net income for the fourth quarter was unchanged at $2.6 million, or 36 cents a share. Sales rose to $49.5 million from $49.1 million.
