Thanks for Story, but I’m Still in Practice

I felt honored that your newspaper would note the fact of my recent retirement from Ventura High School after some 30 years of service as football team doctor. The May 10 story was both informative and correct.

However, many of my patients, after reading the story, came away with the wrong conclusion. I am not retiring from the practice of medicine. I will continue to see patients in my office as before.

Again, thanks to your paper for the nice story.
