‘Poison Ivy’
Katt Shea Ruben’s darkly amusing 1992 melodrama drops Drew Barrymore’s sexy, manipulative teen-ager (right) into the highly dysfunctional family of school pal Sara Gilbert (left). Tom Skerritt plays Gilbert’s hard-drinking father and Cheryl Ladd is her dying mother. Barrymore has real star power, and the whole business is nasty fun (HBO)
