Faith Baptist 56, Capistrano Valley Christian 8--Judd Granzow and Rani Zahr each scored two touchdowns and Jay Carpenter completed nine of 12 passes for 140 yards and three touchdowns to lead host Faith Baptist in an eight-man Delphic League game.
Granzow had four catches for 116 yards and Zahr carried 13 times for 92 yards.
Marshall 28, Verdugo Hills 14--Verdugo Hills squandered a 14-point lead at Marshall.
Anthony Martin scored on a 14-yard run and Alex Trevino returned an interception to give Verdugo Hills (0-6-2, 0-4-1) a 14-0 first-quarter lead.
However Marshall (1-7, 1-4) scored 28 consecutive points.
