Aid to Comatose
The Oct. 3 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to let stand the Court of Appeals decision that requires medical personnel to provide ongoing medical care to hopelessly comatose people is another example of how our leaders are helping to make it impossible to properly allocate the limited resources for providing medical services to our citizens.
The all-too-common exercises in futility are continuing to deprive millions of Americans of needed medical services that could improve their health. Wake up, America!
