ROUNDUP : Cal Lutheran Women Fall to UC Irvine Soccer Team
Cal Lutheran surrendered four goals in the second half and lost a women’s nonconference soccer match to UC Irvine at home Friday, 5-0.
The Anteaters (6-4) received goals from Tracie Ann Manz, Kim Kaitanjian, Kim Franzen, Amber Willingham and Christina Rivera.
Irvine goalie Stephanie Boes recorded her fifth shutout of the season.
Cal Lutheran fell to 7-2.
WATER POLO
Westlake 11, Calabasas 1--Senior hole man David Block scored four goals and Nick LeClerc added two for Westlake (6-2) in the first round of pool play at the Calabasas tournament.
GIRLS’ TENNIS
Harvard-Westlake 13, Marymount 5--Sophomore Jackie Gortman and freshman Lindsy Fordess lost only four games and swept all three of their doubles matches to lead Harvard-Westlake (6-0-1) in a nonleague match in Studio City.
GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
Oakwood d. Holy Martyrs, 12-15, 15-12, 15-8, 12-15, 15-1--Jessica Burtis had 16 kills to lead the Gorillas in the Liberty League opener for both schools.
