Fans Can’t Let Strike Be Business as Usual

I’ve enjoyed reading all the letters about the baseball strike, and all the vitriol being thrown at the owners and players.

I’d like to remind people that these letters, and these feelings, mean absolutely nothing for the time being. The only thing that matters is what we’re doing five years from now. If we’ve all gone back to being supporters of baseball again, letting bygones be bygones, then all this complaining during the strike amounts to nothing more than hot air.

The baseball strike could have been settled with a Budweiser--a Bud wiser than Selig, that is.
