A Cold Forces Diva to Put Off Sunday’s Recital
ESCONDIDO — Mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli, who was to have launched the opening season of the California Center for the Arts here on Sunday, has canceled her appearance on the advice of her physician. She is recovering from a cold caught Thursday in New York City.
Her recital has been rescheduled to Feb. 9 at 8 p.m. Tickets for Sunday will be honored then.
