OUTLOOK
Esposito has another experienced, talented team. Southern California Christian finished second in the Arrowhead League last season and should challenge for the league championship this time around. “This season looks very promising,” Esposito said. “We have everyone returning from last season and several quality pitchers.” Caballero, Felten and St. Clair were first-team all-league selections. Caballero is the league’s top catcher. St. Clair and Felten have strong arms and are defensive standouts in the outfield. Their versatility provides Esposito with several options. Esposito expects Wood and Ridgeway to compete for spots in the Flames’ starting rotation.
