4 Named to Panel on Black Men
Four Southland men, including former football star Jim Brown, have joined the California Commission on the Status of African-American Males, the commission’s chairwoman announced.
The new members are Brown, who runs the Amer-I-Can gang diversion program in South-Central Los Angeles; Don Chapman, a land use and planning consultant; Leroy Chase, executive director of the Boys and Girls Club in Pacoima; and Robert Winn, president of Winn’s Roofing.
