New Image Reports Jump in Net Income
New Image Industries, a Canoga Park dental-products maker, said its fiscal first quarter net income climbed 48% on a 28% revenue gain.
The company’s profit for the three months ended Sept. 30 was $677,000, compared with $456,000 in the same period a year ago. Revenue in the latest quarter rose to $5.5 million from $4.3 million.
New Image’s results for 1992’s fiscal first quarter don’t include the operations of its former Styles on Video subsidiary, which was spun off to New Image shareholders in a rights offering last March.
