The Plaza Sale: Dicker-Warmington Properties has sold a 62-acre shopping center called The Plaza to a real estate investment trust for $58 million.
Burnham Pacific Properties Inc., a San Diego-based REIT, bought the Puente Hills center in the San Gabriel Valley, which is 93% occupied and includes both retail and corporate owners.
Dicker-Warmington, based in Fullerton, owns and manages more than 30 shopping centers in Southern California, Arizona and Texas.
Formed in 1963, Burnham Pacific now owns 24 commercial real estate properties in San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles and Santa Clara counties. In Monday’s New York Stock Exchange trading, the company’s stock was down 12 1/2 cents a share to close at $19.50.
