Hamo Rostamian of Glendale, immediate past president of the Glendale Chamber of Commerce, has been recruited by Grubb and Ellis Commercial Real Estate Service to focus on retail and investment properties in the Glendale-Burbank-Pasadena area.
Formerly with Dorn-Platz and Co., Rostamian brought several retailers to Glendale, including Cost Plus Imports, General Cinemas and Giggles Sports Cafe.
He serves on the chamber’s executive council, the Foundation Board of the Glendale Assn. for the Retarded and the Glendale Memorial Hospital Community Advisory Board.

Robert Pernecky of La Canada Flintridge has been elected president of the McDonald’s Operators’ Assn. of Southern California.
Pernecky owns 13 of the fast-food franchises and has been a local franchisee for 26 years.
