Ford Prices to Rise Moderately: Manufacturer’s suggested retail prices for 1994 Fords and Lincoln-Mercurys will increase an average of 0.2% over comparably equipped 1993 models, excluding added equipment, the auto maker said. The average car retail price will decrease by 1.8%, while the average truck retail price will rise 2.3% on a comparably equipped basis. Ford Motor Co. said substantial improvements in equipment have been made for 1994, including the addition of air bag supplemental restraint systems, side-impact restraints and CFC-free air-conditioning systems.
