New Subsidiary: ITT Datacom in Santa Ana has been formed to make data communications products for computer networks. The subsidiary, a unit of ITT Cannon, develops technology known as screened twisted-pair cabling, which allows data to be transmitted between computers at speeds six to 10 times faster than is possible with ordinary wires.
