Tapie Sells Adidas: Bernard Tapie, France’s populist politician and business tycoon, sold the German sportswear giant Adidas to a group of international investors for $371 million. Financier Robert Louis-Dreyfus will take a 15% stake in the company through his Ricesa corporation, while Adidas President Gilberte Beaux will increase the stake she controls through Efficacite Finance Conseil to 8% from 5%.
