The Doll Hut in Anaheim will continue its tradition of holiday-season rock benefits with a series of seven concerts for three different charities.

The food bank program of the AIDS Services Foundation of Orange County will get the proceeds of shows on Dec. 4 and 5; concerts on Dec. 11 and 12 will benefit the Toys for Tots program, and shows Dec. 17 through 19 will benefit the American Red Cross of Orange County.

In the past, the Doll Hut has dubbed its Christmas benefit shows “Noise for Toys,” but club owner Linda Jemison said that title belongs to her ex-husband, John Mello, who ran the little roadhouse at 107 S. Adams St. with her before their business and marital split earlier this year. “I tried to think of some cute names (for the upcoming shows), but I just kept coming up with dumb ideas,” Jemison said.
