Nation IN BRIEF : FLORIDA : Teen-Age Brothers Guilty of Murder

A teen-ager who had joked that he shot three Taco Bell employees and stabbed a fourth during a robbery because “I had a boring day” was convicted along with his older brother of first-degree murder in Daytona Beach, Fla. Jeffrey Farina, then 16, and Anthony Farina, 18, were arrested May 11 after Michelle Van Ness, 17, was killed. Both brothers also were found guilty of attempted murder in the shootings of two other teen-age employees and the stabbing of another. They also were convicted of burglary, armed robbery and kidnaping.
