McCluggage Promoted at Paramount: Kerry McCluggage has been promoted to chairman of the television group at Paramount Pictures. McCluggage, 38, had been president. He will report directly to Stanley R. Jaffe, president and chief operating officer of Paramount Communications Inc., the New York-based parent company of the Hollywood film and TV studio. The promotion puts McCluggage on equal footing with Sherry Lansing, who last week was named chairman of Paramount’s motion picture group.
