‘Christmas’ Turmoil: Kevin Von Feldt’s production of “A Christmas Carol,” scheduled to play the 1,728-seat Scottish Rite Auditorium, has lost a major investor and Von Feldt has delayed the opening from Nov. 27 to Dec. 1, but he says he isn’t using ticket revenue while he searches for other investors. Actors haven’t been paid for rehearsals, prompting Actors’ Equity to begin paying the cast out of a bond posted by Von Feldt. Two designers who say they have signed contracts with Von Feldt also claim they haven’t been paid. As of Tuesday morning, telephone orders for the $15-$35 tickets were still being taken for the entire run, including the Nov. 27 opening, even though Von Feldt says it has been postponed.
