Fullerton, Golden West Meet Tonight at OCC

COSTA MESA —  Either Fullerton or Golden West can ease the sting of a difficult season when the teams meet in a Mission Conference Central Division game at 7 tonight at Orange Coast College.

Golden West has struggled to a 2-5 mark and 0-2 in the division. Fullerton is 1-6, 1-1, and assured of its first losing season since 1963.

One thing on Fullerton’s side is history. The Hornets have won 11 in a row and 16 of 19 meetings between the teams. Golden West last beat Fullerton in the 1977 Avocado Bowl, 10-7.
