ARROWHEAD LEAGUE FOOTBALL : Wakimoto, Felton Lead SCC to Victory

Robert Wakimoto rushed for 135 yards and two touchdowns in 23 carries, and quarterback Mike Felton passed for 79 yards and two touchdowns in Southern California Christian’s 42-0 victory over Riverside California School for the Deaf in an Arrowhead League game Thursday in Riverside.

Felton threw only two passes, but both went for touchdowns in the second quarter. After taking a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, Felton hit Joel Carral for an eight-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter for Southern California Christian (4-5, 3-2).

Wakimoto scored on a one-yard run to make the score 21-0. Felton then connected with Ron Wood on a 71-yard touchdown pass, giving the Flames a 28-0 lead at halftime.
