Children’s Programs--The Oak Canyon Nature Center in Anaheim will continue its series of children’s nature programs on Saturdays. The following is the program schedule for November:
* Saturday--”Early Birder at Anaheim Wetlands” and “Feathered Friends.”
* Nov. 14--”How to Do a Science Fair Project.”
* Nov. 21--”Winter Camping.”
* Nov. 28--”Tracking.”
All of the programs begin at 10 a.m., except Saturday, when the “Early Birder” program begins at 8 a.m. and the “Feathered Friends” program begins at 10 a.m.
Each of the events is free and open to children ages 6 to 10.

Bolsa Chica Field Trip--South Coast Audubon is hosting a field trip to the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve on Nov. 8.
The ecological reserve’s wetlands are filled with black skimmers, terns, gulls and shorebirds this time of year.
The trip will be led by Earl Dore.
Participants are asked to meet at 8 a.m. at the ecological reserve on Pacific Coast Highway, about half a mile south of Warner Avenue, across from Bolsa Chica State Beach.
Wetlands Tours--Also upcoming at the Bolsa Chica wetlands are guided public tours, which will be held Saturday morning. The tours, sponsored by Amigos de Bolsa Chica, will depart every 20 minutes beginning at 9 a.m. from the wetlands’ ecological reserve. The last tour will depart at 10:30 a.m.
Those who would like to take the tour are asked to meet at the ecological reserve on Pacific Coast Highway.
