Beadle’s Cafeteria in Pasadena has been named “Employer of the Year” by the Adult Vocational Services Department at the Almansor Center in South Pasadena. The department provides job training, placement and employment support services to disabled clients.
Jane Arvizu, the cafeteria’s general manager, said Beadle’s believes that business has a responsibility to help train handicapped people to become self-supporting and gain self-respect.
