Eugene Sakasegawa, founder and president of Saki Magnetics in Calabasas, has been named chairman and chief executive, and Richard P. Drake has been appointed president and chief operating officer to succeed Sakasegawa.
Saki Magnetics is a leading manufacturer of magnetic recording heads. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of TDK Electronics, Tokyo.
Sakasegawa established Saki Magnetics in 1968 and sold the company to TDK Electronics in 1972.
Before joining Saki Magnetics, Drake was group vice president of Cetec Corp., El Monte.
