Cardinal Values: Cardinal Roger Mahony has called a news conference for 10:30 this morning to release a Pastoral Letter to the entertainment industry that will outline wide-ranging “human values” to help guide in the production of movies and television. Cardinal Mahony is expected to clarify his stand on movie and TV production codes, discuss his position on creative freedom and call for a “collaborative” rather than a “combative or confrontational” relationship with the industry.
