Silent No More: An “overwhelming” number of calls jammed telephone lines following Friday night’s three-network joint broadcast of “Scared Silent: Exposing and Ending Child Abuse.” Arnold Shapiro, producer of the vivid hourlong documentary, said Sunday it will be several days before the total number of calls to an 800 number displayed during the show will be tallied.
