Real Problems : Directing Streak
Susan King in her article regarding my old friend Aaron Spelling’s “2000 Malibu Road” (TV Times, Aug. 23) states that directing all six episodes of “Malibu” is “an unheard-of undertaking.”
Sorry to disagree, but in the early 1980s I both directed and produced 11 one-hour episodes of NBC’s “Bare Essence” in a row.
