Gun Control and Violence

In your editorial “Death Takes No Holiday” (Aug. 25) you state the problem: unending violence in this city, and you state the cure--the Brady Bill, community policing and you tell us the problem can be stopped if we refuse to give up the fight against it. Don’t you think you should send this message to our inept legislators, with a special postscript to President Bush to give up his membership in the NRA?
