McRoskey Is New Times Mirror VP
Cecilia McRoskey, president and founder of a San Francisco-based project management firm, has been named to the new position of vice president of information technology at Times Mirror Co., parent of The Times. She will lead the company’s efforts to formulate new strategies for using computer, telecommunications and related technologies.
Before opening McRoskey Management Resources in 1989, McRoskey was vice president and general manager of a division of Software Alliance. She previously served as a vice president of Lotus Information Network Corp. and held positions at IBM and Wells Fargo Bank.
She will report to Curtis A. Hessler, Times Mirror senior vice president, who said of McRoskey: “We expect her to make a significant contribution to improving the cost-effectiveness of our business support systems and our competitive prospects in new areas of technology.”
