STAGE
‘Kentucky’ Canceled: The Oct. 17-25 replay of Robert Shenkkan’s Pulitzer Prize-winning “The Kentucky Cycle” at UCLA’s Ralph Freud Playhouse has been canceled because the megaplay has been postponed at Washington’s Kennedy Center. “Cycle,” which played the Mark Taper Forum’s thrust stage earlier this year, had been set to play in Washington from Nov. 5 to Dec. 5 but has been rescheduled for a longer run in the fall of 1993. The UCLA run had been arranged primarily to restructure the show for a proscenium stage.
