17 O.C. Companies Make Hispanic Business Magazine’s Top 500 List
Orange County’s Latino-owned companies continue to thrive despite the recession, according to Hispanic Business magazine.
A record 17 Orange County companies--with revenue totaling $191.3 million--are ranked among the nation’s 500 top Latino enterprises in the magazine’s annual Hispanic Business 500, released today.
Infotec Development Inc., a Santa Ana designer and developer of software systems for the defense industry, remains the county’s largest Latino company, with annual sales of $68.66 million.
Despite major cuts in government defense spending, Infotec saw a remarkable 32% growth in revenue and improved its ranking to become the nation’s 29th largest Latino company, up from 34th place last year.
And while two Orange County firms were dropped from the magazine’s 1992 listing, five previously unranked companies were added.
Complete details of the Southland members of the Hispanic Business 500 will appear in Tuesday’s business section.
