TRADE POLICY
If this country would demand that the Japanese compete fairly and charge for their flat-panels what it costs to build them, plus a reasonable profit, no tariffs on such items would be needed. If we can accept paying a fair price for an item and not be seduced into paying an artificially reduced price that will be used to hurt us in the long run, this country can compete with anyone in the world.
