SMALL FACES: Those who protested what they thought was Faith No More’s cruelty to a goldfish in its 1989 video for the song “Epic” should have a field day with the back cover of the band’s album “Angel Dust,” which will be released in June. The artwork shows a slaughterhouse full of dead animals. . . .

Soundgarden will be releasing a repackaged version of its “Badmotorfinger” album with a free bonus CD titled (take a deep breath) “Satanoscillatemymetallicsonatas” (now say it backward). The five-song disc incudes a rare single, a live cut and versions of Devo’s “Girl U Want,” the Rolling Stones’ “Stray Cat Blues” and Black Sabbath’s “Into the Void.” . . . Collectors should also be on the look-out for “Lilliput,” a lavish anthology of the 4AD label, the home of the Cocteau Twins, the Pixies and Lush. The two-CD collection of the label’s highlights is packaged in a book that details the label’s history. The set is a promotional-only item, but will surely turn up in some record stores.
