Bass Anglers Continue to Put Up Big Numbers
This is the season of the bass fisherman, and the past week produced the following reasons:
--A 15-pound 8-ounce largemouth was caught and released in Ventura County’s Lake Casitas by Marty Laskowitz of Van Nuys.
--A 12-3 bass was caught and released in Los Angeles County’s Castaic Lake by Doug Delgato of Van Nuys. Also at Castaic, William Teravanto of Chicago took an 11-pounder and Jerry Peck of Kentucky caught a 10-pounder.
--An 11-12 bass was caught in Riverside County’s Perris Lake by Cecil Gamble of Pico Rivera.
--A 10-2 bass was caught in San Diego’s Otay Lake by Bob Bowen of La Mesa.
