Jailed Protester
The article is both inspiring and depressing. Here is a woman who devotes her life to helping and speaking for those unable to do so in an utterly selfless way and, apparently, at risk to herself. All of us need prodding as to the horror and stupidity of war.
She is truly a Christ-like person in her compassion and activism.
What a sorry sight to see how our so-called “justice system†treats her and her fellow activists. At a time when dangerous criminals roam the streets and the jails are overcrowded, what rational justification can be made for incarcerating Lopez?
It is shameful!
