Santa Monica : Theater Festival Proposals
The arts division of the city’s Department of Cultural and Recreation Services is seeking proposals from professional theater companies interested in participating in a multicultural theater festival to be held in Santa Monica in September.
Companies or producers interested in producing the entire festival or presenting one or more pieces will be chosen based on demonstrated record of past artistic merit and professional achievement, and on evidence of sensitivity to the needs of a diverse community, according to Maria de Herrera, arts division administrator.
Letters of interest and resumes should be sent by May 15 to SMarts/Theatre Festival, 3239 Donald Douglas Loop South, Santa Monica 90405.
Selected companies or producers will be notified by May 31.
