Darren Lewis, the Chicago Bears’ sixth-round draft choice, checked into a drug rehabilitation center, his agent said.
Lewis, a running back from Texas A&M;, was the only player who tested positive for cocaine during the NFL’s scouting evaluations in February.
The league sent all test results to each team, but Bear personnel director Bill Tobin said he never saw the letter.
