PORT HUENEME : 2 Men Stabbed in Fight With Youths
Two 18-year-old men were stabbed when a fight erupted Tuesday afternoon in a Port Hueneme residential area, police said Wednesday.
Police responded to a call in the 100 block of Jane Drive, where they found George Ayala with a stab wound to the lower abdomen. His friend, Armando Perez, suffered a minor wound in the back.
Ayala was transported to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, where he was listed in critical but stable condition Wednesday. Police said Perez was not hospitalized.
Police said the men apparently got into an argument with three youths before the dispute turned violent. No information was available on the youths.
