Tacoma Evens Series With Storm

TACOMA, Wash. — Gary Heale scored his third goal of the game a minute and a half into overtime to give the Tacoma Stars a 4-3 MSL playoff victory over the St. Louis Storm in the second game of the Western Division semifinals.
The three-game series is tied 1-1 and will be decided Saturday night in St. Louis. The victor heads to San Diego, where the division finals begin Thursday.
Heale’s second goal tied the game, 3-3, five minutes into the fourth quarter.
A key to the victory was Tacoma’s ability to shut out Preki, who scored four goals in the opener.
