TV’s Best: CNN’s coverage of the Persian Gulf crisis, the premiere episode of ABC’s “Twin Peaks,” NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” and the Disney Channel’s “Mother Goose Rock ‘n’ Rhyme” were among 26 winners of the George Foster Peabody Broadcasting Awards for distinguished service in 1990. Winners of the Peabody Awards were announced by the University of Georgia College of Journalism and Mass Communication. The awards will be presented at a May 13 luncheon in New York City.
