Davis Offers Assurances: Marvin Davis assured Minnesota officials that he wouldn’t fire Northwest Airlines workers or seek wage concessions. Davis gave his assurance in an effort to settle litigation over a Minnesota commerce commission ruling that prevented him from conducting a tender offer in Minnesota for NWA, the parent of Northwest.
