Duke continued to hold the No. 1 spot in the Associated Press college basketball poll, and an upset loss to a Division II team dropped Michigan, previously unbeaten and ranked No. 2, down to seventh.
Michigan, which lost to Alaska Anchorage in the Utah tournament last week, had been second to Duke for 5 weeks.
Duke (8-0) received 49 first-place votes and 1,192 points from the nationwide panel of sportswriters and broadcasters to remain No. 1 for the seventh consecutive regular-season poll.
