From our Runaway Pitch Meetings Department, Utah bureau: A would-be screenwriter was given a 190-day suspended jail sentence for breaking into actor-director Robert Redford’s estate in Pleasant Grove, Utah, on Nov. 8 to make a pitch for his movie script. Kevin S. Stratford, of Carlsbad, Calif., said he wanted Redford to read his script for comment and possible consideration. Stratford pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of criminal trespassing on Monday, but was released because 180 of his 190-day sentence was suspended--and Stratford had already served the other 10 days.
