According to the Southern California Assn. of Governments, the number of daily home-to-work “person trips” taken within Orange County will increase by 39% between the years 1984 and 2010. SCAG defines a “person trip” as a trip taken by any mode from a point of origin to a destination. The intra-Orange County increase pales in comparison to a projected 107% rise in neighboring Riverside County.
