Pierce Plays Host to Compton in Finale
Pierce College will try to snap a 3-game losing streak tonight at 7:30 against Compton in a Western State Conference Southern Division football game at Pierce.
The Brahmas (1-8, 1-7 in conference play) will conclude their first season since coming back after a 2-year layoff. The school dropped the football program following the 1985 season in the wake of budget cuts in the Los Angeles Community College District.
Pierce is coming off a 59-0 loss to Bakersfield and has been outscored, 123-16, in its last 2 games. The Brahmas defeated West Los Angeles, 42-6, on Oct. 22 for their only win.
Compton (2-7, 2-6) is coming off a 41-0 victory over West L. A.
