Mazurie Will Sign to Play Basketball With Northridge
Bill Mazurie, a 6-3 guard who played at Foothill High School last season, said Tuesday he will sign a letter of intent today to play basketball for Cal State Northridge.
Mazurie averaged 12 points a game and was selected first-team All-Century League at Foothill last season. He transferred to Capistrano Valley in the spring.
He will become the first player ever to sign early with Northridge, which plays in the NCAA Division II California Collegiate Athletic Assn. but is scheduled to join Division I in 1990.
